Gridiron Alumni Making Waves in the South This Spring
Gridiron Alumni allows the boys of Fall to play one more time. After high school, only a handful of players go on to college. After college, it's pretty much over for everyone but a chosen few.
REDDING, CA, February 17, 2012 /Sports PR News/ -- A California company, Gridiron Alumni has expanded their operations in the South. Gridiron Alumni puts on full contact, full pad _a href=http://gridironalumni.com_Alumni Football _/a_games. Last year, the company CEO, Chris Hall learned first hand that the south loves football. "It was quite a site to see," Hall said. "The teams were generally more organized and the fans were amazing!" Hall continued, "On the west coast, there are lots of teams that are great, but football is just fun for them. In the South, it's like football is a religion."
Last year, Gridiron Alumni put on 5 games in the South. They did 3 games in Thibodaux, Louisiana and 2 in Georgia; one in Roswell and one in Tunnel Hill. This year, they have dramatically expanded their schedule to further accommodate the growing number of alumni football players in the south. So far this year, it looks like they're going to repeat the games in Louisiana as well as picking up more games in Tennessee, Georgia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas, and North Carolina. We also have games brewing in Oklahoma, Mississippi, Alabama, Virginia, and Florida. The biggest on the schedule this far are a game in Canton, North Carolina and another in Savannah, Georgia.
