Playoffs begin for Brand Jordan 40 & Over Basketball Tournament
The 5th annual Brand Jordan 40 & Over Basketball tournament is winding down as 6 teams have been eliminated. The final four playoffs begin on Wednesday August 3, 2011 in Chicago.
CHICAGO, IL, July 30, 2011 /Sports PR News/ -- Great basketball is still in action in the city of Chicago courtesy of the Brand Jordan 40 & Over Basketball Tournament presented by Sportsfactory. Former NBA, European League, and street players show they still got game in one of the most exciting tournaments in the country.
CL Fitness Inc.,(featuring Kendall Gill and Marcus Liberty) will play The Ballers (a host of college and street legends), followed by defending champions, The Doug Johnson All-stars ( Carl Hayes) playing The Family (aka Team DayDay), on Wednesday August 3, 2011 at 6:00pm.
The championship game kicks off at noon on August 6, 2011. Admission is free and celebrity players will be in the house including his airness, Michael Jordan! Early arrival is recommended at the University of Chicago Lab School at 1362 East 59th Street in Chicago.
