Pelagic Sailing Club Kicks Off Their 2011 Season with Guest Speakers Captains Steve and Dave Winkler of SeaTow Boston

WINTHROP, MA, April 23, 2011 /Sports PR News/ -- Breaking down on the water is not fun, nor is running aground or out of gas. But, should this happen to you, Captains Steve and Dave Winkler of SeaTow Boston are just a phone call away. A new member of Pelagic Sailing Club and our guest speaker, Pelagic's first presentation "Sea Tow To The Rescue" is set for April 28, 2011 at Savin Hill Yacht Club Dorchester, MA. "We always have something interesting to discuss," Captain Dave Winkler says, "we love doing these presentations."
Pelagic Sailing Club is dedicated to bringing together competent skippers and competent crew for their mutual sailing benefit!
It's a great way to test the waters with a variety of boats if you're looking to buy a boat, otherwise crewing can be a lot of fun as well. Thirty-five percent of Pelagic's members are boat owners, the other 65% are crew. "As you can see," says Coles, "the percentage of crew to boat owners is high, so the club is looking for new boat owner applicants. Plus, it's an excellent way to meet other like-minded boaters."
Pelagic Sailing Club's mission is to promote safety on the water, seamanship sailing, and good fellowship.
