Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina Announces Plans to Host 2011 Billfish Tournament
Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina has just announced they will be hosting the 1st Annual Charleston Harbor Marina Billfish Tournament July 13 - 16, 2011.
MOUNT PLEASANT, SC, January 05, 2011 /Sports PR News/ -- Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina has just announced they will be hosting the 1st Annual Charleston Harbor Marina Billfish Tournament July 13 - 16, 2011. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 will kick off the tournament with the Captain's meeting and party on the beach that Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina has become famous for. Thursday will begin the first day of fishing and anglers will have a choice of fishing two of the three days. Saturday evening will close out the tournament with awards, food, drink and live music.
Included in registration fees will be 6 party passes for nightly entertainment, food and beverages on the beach, dockages for 4 nights, one parking pass, tournament bag, and 6 tournament shirts. A unique feature of this tournament is the first 35 boats that register will also receive a complimentary sleeping room for July 13 - 17, 2011. All evening events will be open to the public. Ticket pricing for each evening event are yet to be determined.
Currently Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina is looking for sponsors and vendors for the tournament village. Various packages are available based on sponsor level. Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina will be donating a part of the proceeds from this event to a local charity yet to be named.
