Larry E. Salci celebrates 40 years of success in his career
CASEYVILLE, IL, December 7, 2010 /Sports PR News/ -- Larry E. Salci, Principal of Salci Consulting, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.
With 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Salci attributes his success to his strong competitive attitude. As the principal of Salci Consulting, he is in charge of consulting, with an expertise in finance, operations, and strategic planning. He previously worked as the CEO of four passenger railcar manufacturers and two major urban public transit agencies. He was responsible for the design and manufacture of 3,000 passenger rail cars and the design and construction of light rail transit systems.
Mr. Salci received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy. He is a member of the American Public Transit Association, and served on corporate boards and public boards including United Way Worldwide and the National Urban League. In 1986, he was an Inductee to the University of Detroit Sports Hall of Fame for basketball.
