Robert Brewster celebrates 11 years as a golf course superintendent for the Mississaugua Golf and Country Club
MISSISSAUGA, ON, CANADA, November 15, 2010 /Sports PR News/ -- Robert Brewster, Golf Course Superintendent for the Mississaugua Golf and Country Club, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in green-keeping and golf course maintenance.
With 37 years of experience as a Golf Course Superintendent, he has been working with the Mississaugua Golf and Country Club for 11 years. Robert Brewster is responsible for overseeing 270 acres of property outside the clubhouse including the greens and the driving range, maintaining the property, and supervising a crew of 26. Mr. Brewster has been a Golf Superintendent at three golf clubs in Toronto: the Weston Golf and Country Club, The Toronto Golf Club and the Mississaugua Golf & Country Club. He attributes his success to his passion for his profession and desire to continue learning. He became involved in his profession after working on a golf course when he was 17 years old and taking an interest in the sport.
Mr. Brewster became certified in Turf Management through the University of Guelph. He is a member of The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, the Ontario Golf Superintendents' Association, the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association, and the The British and International Greenkeepers Association.
